    Labdoor #1 rated multi vitamin

I use labdoor to see which supplements I’m taking are actually providing what they’re claiming. Getting what I pay for is important to me.As of right now, I don’t need the recommended dosage (4 pills). I take 1 in the morning, 1 at night. This is all my diet needs.Don’t take multivitamins unless you know what you need in your diet.Garden of Life is absolutely one of the most expensive multivitamins on the market, but they can charge that price for the product they’re selling.By taking 2 pills a day, I’m getting what I need in my diet and stretching these out for as long as possible.

hard to swallow but great vitamins

The ingredient quality in this is absolutely amazing! I highly recommend it for that reason. I don’t like how you have to take four. They are hard to swallow. They definitely are on the price your side. But for the ingredients in the quality you’re paying I think it’s worth it honestly!

    Keeps me well!

I have been taking Garden of Life men’s vitamins for over two years now. I take one every day and at the risk of jinxing my string of good health I will say I HAVE not been sick in the whole time. Usually I have a yearly bout of bronchitis from mild to severe ,and I can not swear that it is the result of taking this vitamin ( it is the only one I take) but i strongly feel it has made a difference. I originally balked at the higher price of this vitamin but now I pay for it gladly. I was paying my doctor much more to cure me not to mention the pain and downtime.

    Gamechanger

If you’re like me and have taken whatever multi-vitamins the big box pharmacies offer, you’ll feel a difference with these on day 1. I’ve started taking half the dose at night before bed and I’ve never felt better when I wake up in the morning. Stop buying the cheap stuff with added fillers that absorb the nutrients your body needs and spend the extra coin on these for a healthier life

    Highly recommend

I have tried a few higher end vitamins over the past few months and have been disappointed. I am definitely not disappointed with this one. It gives you a steady and consistent feeling of being energized–not in a caffeinated or mega dose of Vitamin B manner, but just a good feeling of vibrancy. I exercise and eat as clean as possible, so I am not billing this as a miracle vitamin, but it really gets my mornings off to great starts. This company gets great reviews on all their products and seems committed to providing high quality vitamins and supplements at reasonable prices. It’s easy to be tempted by the 5.99 bottle of multivitamins at the big box stores, but most contain synthetic vitamins and fillers. Spend the money and get a good quality vitamin–I highly recommend this one. I am not affiliated with this company and seldom write reviews unless I feel strongly one way or another about a product. This one gets 5 stars.

4 tablets a day to get full nutrition. Vegetarian capsules

This is a mens supplement. My wife uses garden of life prenatal and omega 3. They are so naturally made. I wanted mens supplements so i brought these, i am a vegetarian so wanted these these are vegetarian capsules unlike other supplements also they are all naturally made, no artificial flavors or supplements. Thats the reason i bought these. The only thing i dint like is to get a daily amout of nutrition you need to take 4 capsules a day. 2 tablets twice a day. Thats the only thing which i dint like taking so many capsules. Most multivitamin supplements outside suggested 1 a day.

Why Has Taste Changed Like Metalic?

I have been using theses for multiple years. My recent order the taste and smell is horrible. Is it a new formula for the capsule? It is so bad I can no longer take them.

    Dosage

You should tell people that the recommended daily dose is 4 and that’s just to get what is in one citruim silver for men. I would not have purchased these had I known. So just tell people they need to take 4 everyday like the label says. I got Sucked in that one. Hopefully this helps others

    I’m satisfied so far.

I wish I didn’t have to take 4 pills A-day like the instructions tell me compared to a Centrum vitamin. Although I like all the extra ingredients and I’m happy that it’s organic. I really do like this product. To that provides divided means that I do need. Then I won’t have to worry about buying the entire supermarket, HAHAHA Garden of life should also make sure we can see and find the expiration day or best used by day or something easily. Don’t know why some products make it hard to find it. Even if it’s not made by them I’m talking about all products. It’s like some other manufacturers put the expiration date in a tiny area that you can’t notice

Stomach pain after taking… unless blended into a smoothie!

I have taken this for two days now (only 1-2 pills) and experienced stomach pain both times. I even took it with milk since milk is a superb buffer and I still experienced stomach pain. Disappointed because I was really excited about the nutrient levels of this product, since the amounts were not massively over the RDAs.I have used Ola Loa multivitamins for a few years now with fewer unpleasant effects (burping usually). I have also used Mercola multivitamins but recently stopped those because the taste and smell was nauseating. I find that this Vitamin Code product has a similar smell.I’ll probably just go back to using a strategy of juicing (Omega juicer) and blending fruits/veggies in order to get sufficient vitamins/minerals instead of relying on a multivitamin.Update 04/05/13I emptied the contents of one capsule today in the blender and blended it up with a fruit smoothie. Barely noticed the taste, and had no stomach pains afterward. Perhaps it works better when incorporated fully into a food matrix. Good news!Update 05/01/13I continue using this multivitamin blended into kefir or a smoothie, and have experienced no problems in this manner.

Works great, did notice I feel better

I two times in the past multivitamin supplements, from GNC, did not notice anything except bright yellow urine… so I was skeptic about taking anything again. With this tho I did notice in the next days I was feeling a lot better (I am also taking another supplements that have help to that), and now even tho I don’t have the best diet because of time issues and work, I do feel I give my body what it needs with this supplement when my diet does not give all the needed resources. I take 2 in the morning and 2 at lunch, since this is 4 capsules daily. The mix of nutrients is great, even including some probiotic, enzymes and raw vegetable and fruit. This is vegetarian and I do feel my body absorbs it, compared to other brands.

    Excellent, gentle, and effective multivitamin

I have taken these vitamins as directed for 6 months. I feel amazing, and I know it is these supplements. I am happy paying the high dollar price for this product and other supplements in the Garden of Life line, because I know that since it is a raw whole-food supplement, everything will be absorbed. Be sure to take the capsules twice daily as directed, and you will feel better after a while. These can also be taken without food, any time of day, and I don’t experience any stomach pain. I highly recommend these, as I believe they are the best multivitamin out there and I do not see myself changing multivitamins while these are bring produced. LOVE LOVE LOVE.

The only real question is how much better these are than say the Rainbow Light Men’s

People claim vitamins don’t make a difference, but I don’t know. Some experts claim every condition is a result of a lack of minerals or diet. And there’s a reason why most foods these days are fortified with vitamins, for instance when you buy milk they tend to add Vitamin D. So clearly they must have some effect. So why get cheap fortified vitamins in your food and rely only on that, when you can get a high quality vitamin separately that has you covered for everything? These are pricey, but for me there is a huge difference. I’m 35 now, and without the vitamins I simply do not have the energy to work out and tend to feel fatigued and lethargic. With these, I honestly seemingly have the same energy as when I was 25. To me that’s worth the price. There’s an over 40 formula too that I will likely switch to in 5+ years. The only real question is how much better these are than say the Rainbow Light Men’s, which are a lot cheaper, but have had a huge price increase themselves. I’ve taken the Rainbow Lights in the past, and I might switch between the two now unless I notice significant improvement with these only. I also might just switch to only these, because overall the price is fair for the difference in vitality I’ve gained.

    My favorite multi vitamin

I love garden of life! They are a little expensive but definitely worth it. I use some of the vitamin code products along with the collagen. I’ve never felt better. My husband doesn’t like taking pills so I’m very happy they have new gummies.

The only brand of vitamin I will take!

Been buying these vitamins for a decade. You can read the description … they are not make like standard vitamins, they actually come from a (living) culture. So, what does that mean? Well, probably along with all the recognized and catalogued vitamins that are on the label – the standard list, and very complete – they have all sorts of other vitamin-like compounds, though went along with the ride.I’ve tried things like centrum … ug. Feels like I ate a pile of industrial waste or something. Super synthetic. These are naturally derived.Do they work? Yes. Someone asked me, “Well, how you do know they work?” It’s pretty obvious – my skin is much clearer when I take vitamins. [I’m too old to be breaking out, to tell the truth. I just chalk it up to my youthful nature! Lol.]But more subjectively, I tend to sleep better, and my mood just feels more stable. One thing – they say take FOUR a day. That’s 100% of the RDA … oh, but I eat this stuff called “food” as well, which also has vitamins in it. So I take two, I think that’s the right amount. Also in general, I always try to take them with food. I think your body treats them more efficiently that way.

    Not bad but

The vitamins themselves aren’t bad, but you have to research the source material. I have a brewers yeast allergy and after researching found that the B vitamins were all sourced from Brewer’s Yeast.

Good Vitamins – maybe the best

I was a New Chapter – Every Man whole food Multivitamin consumer for a long time but I heard they sold to a different company and are using cheaper ingredients. Regardless of whether or not that may be true I decided to give these a try after doing some research and seeing them on my Dad’s shelf. Being accustomed to whole food vitamins I must say you really cant go wrong here, Garden of Life has a great reputation and these vitamins are very well received by my body any time of the day and never produce the neon yellow urine and/or stomach cramps cheaper multivitamins have done to me in the past. I have done research and many reputable health sites list these as the number one multivitamin on the market, if not number one, top 5. I will stick with these and take on the days I feel that I am not getting all of my vitamins throughout the day. A good bulk discount seems to start when you get the 240 count bottle, prices fluctuate here a lot but an extra $10 bucks (2013-07-03) for double the amount is fair in my opinion, you get what you pay for with these. 4 capsules is one serving so 240 would last at least 60 days. I only take 2 a few times a week because I eat healthy so a big bottle lasts me a long time, 4+ months. Excellent choice, again you cant get any better than these vitamins in my opinion. -AJ

One of the only quality multivitamins on Amazon

So if you do a bit of research you’ll find independent labs that test multivitamins on Amazon, and it’s a mess. This is one of the only multivitamins that gets good reviews on Amazon from those labs, and the cheapest. You have to take two pills, twice daily is recommended. Otherwise 4 in the morning.

    Will destroy your sleep

Absolute garbage for anyone needing a good nights sleep. I cut back to half the daily dose (4 pills, down to 2) in the morning around 7am, and here I am, again, at 1:37am the following morning, unable to sleep because this trash of a supplement has FAR too much of the B vitamins for anyone to need or handle in a day. I don’t take other energy supplements, eat late in the day, or do anything to induce stress or anxiety before sleep, but here I am, wide TF awake, this never happened before trying to take these and make it through the bottle.Do NOT buy these, unless you want to feel like your brain can’t turn off and need to detox from vitamin B

Objectively, this is a good multi I’ve used before. Came with bottle broken. I like that glass is being used Instead of plastic. But stuff happens. Purchased online for convenience. Maybe they need to cushion better? Might buy at a brick and mortar next time.

    Expensive but very effective.

I was gonna give these multi-vitamins a 4 star rating because of the price. I’m not sure if they are worth the price but they are, arguably, the most effective multi-vitamin available anywhere. I wanted to get a way from the once a day, cheap, potentially harmful multivitamins I’ve been using recently. So I did some research and came across this brand. I liked the idea that you could take it on a empty stomach if need be. However, you shouldn’t, at least take them with a snack for optimal absorption. One serving is 4 pills, I took 2 in the morning, two in the late afternoon. After the first week, I stared to noticed a general increase in physical and mental health. Keep in mind that you get a lot of these vitamins and minerals naturally with the food that you eat so you might not need vitamins at all. However, with my job it is hard to ensure I get 3 nutritious meals a day, and I felt these genuinely helped me become a healthier person. I’m gonna give another highly regarded brand a shot, NOW foods ADAM multi-vitamin. If I feel they are not as effective, I will pony up the dough and come back to Garden of Life, since I have not heard of another brand that can contend with either besides Rainbow Light vitamins, which I used for two months in the past and found them to be highly overrated. In conclusion, I think these vitamins are excellent and if other vitamins can’t provide similar results, they are worth their price. I truly believe my body is able to absorb the nutrients within these pills. At the end of the day, that’s all that really matters.

One of the only items I regularly order

Garden of Life earned my trust with their meal replacement mixes. I was impressed by the quality and decided to branch out and try more of their products. This multivitamin in particular has become a staple item for me.No, I don’t experience a rush of energy or mental prowess after taking these multivitamins. These aren’t a magic cure for debilitating conditions. But what they do provide are an excellent array of vitamins and probiotics that work well. The amount of vitamins isn’t excessive either; they’re at or around the maximum amount needed per day, rather than filled with 400% of lower quality ingredients.

My Intermittent fasting + Keto multi-vitamin

I do 17:7 intermittent fasting and Keto at the same time. I am a 180lbs male that eats about 1600 to 1700 calories a day. I needed to buy a multivitamin to help with any basic deficiencies I might have had in my diet, something anyone cutting calories should consider. I bought this because it met my check list 1. Vitamins and Minerals from natural sources 2. Contained probiotics 3. Contained COQ10I have had these for about a week and a half and this is what I have noticed so far.Pros:1. Much more consistent energy2. Going number 2 is so much easier3. Much less headaches4. No nauseated feelings after taking them. Something I’m prone to with other multi vitaminsCons:1. Constantly bloatedYou are supposed to take 4 a day, I do, but split them into 2 servings. I take 2 pills with my first and last meals with 16oz of water. So far I like this product, but I feel it is missing a few minerals, mainly copper and iron, even if it’s minimal would be good. I’ll consider adding any new info if anything changes. But if you would like a good multi, this is my recommendation.

    Expensive but good

The idea behind these is that instead of having us take the synthetic supplements directly they will feed S. cerevisiae a type of culture all the multivitamins from different sources some natural some synthetic like the B12 is from methylcobalamin which is fed to the culture. These cultures will absorb all the different vitamins/minerals in their cellular membrane. The idea is our body will break down this yeast to get all the vitamins natural way as it does with food instead of directly taking the broken down version of synthetic supplements. Taking supplements in this ‘natural’ way than synthetic ones is more beneficial or not is debatable. Google about S. cerevisiae to know more about how these ‘raw natural’ supplements are made. The reason I took this one is that it is highly ranked on labdoor.comThe old version of this same supplements had calcium, magnesium, carotenoids, tocopherols, copper which they have removed in this latest product not sure if this is the result of Nestle buying out the company or some other scientific reason. These are big capsules like 1-2cm each and had to be taken 4 to meet daily requirements making it quite expensive per servings. I think that’s a major disadvantage else its good.

    Constipation

After 2 weeks of using this product, I experienced severe constipation. I went 7 days, then 8 days without a bowel movement. I spoke with my primary care and determined the only thing I was doing different was taking this vitamin. I stopped, and within 2 days my movements returned to normal. Perhaps it didn’t agree with my particular biology.

    Quality ingredients.

I purchased these for my husband and son after doing a lot of research on supplements. I found all kinds of ingredients in our old vitamins that are toxic, don’t uptake in the form provided, can cause harm, etc. I was wondering if our vitamins could cause more damage over time than good. A couple of years ago, we really changed the way we ate, yet I hadn’t changed our supplements. So, the price seems high, but I figured it was time to invest in higher quality supplements, just as I had in our food, & I assume using higher quality ingredients costs more to manufacture. I am very happy with the quality of ingredients in this multi-vitamin. I was also glad to find that the expiration date was over a year out, because I have had trouble with expiration dates with online products at times. As far as whether or not they ‘work’? Well, I don’t know if there is honestly any way to tell with this type of thing. It’s not like my husband looked 10 years younger after taking one or anything. I just feel more comfortable knowing my hubby and son are are using a quality vitamin as a back up or ‘safety net’. We try to eat right and take care of ourselves, but we’re not perfect, so a multivitamin gives me peace of mind. The additional probiotics is nice as well. The directions say to take 4 a day. Again, we just use these as a supplement to the nutrition in our food, so my guys each take just one a day (in addition to 1 a day of another quality multi-vitamin). As a result, the bottle lasts them much longer than it would for those that take 4 a day – so, that helps us a bit with the price. I plan on purchasing this brand for myself once I’ve finished the supply of a different brand that I am taking.

    Great Qualty Vitamin

I’ve been using this multivitamin daily for a couple years now. I’m not a nutritionist but in my own personal research I determined to find a good multivitamin with as few vitamins above 100% of daily value as possible and with probiotics. This one is organic as well, so that’s a plus. The recommended daily serving is 4 capsules a day. I usually just do 2, as long as I’m eating healthy, and that seems to work just fine. If I’ve been having a bad day diet wise, I’ll take 2 more towards the evening time to make sure my body is getting nutrients. I will say I do notice the difference if I forget to take them on any given day. I feel less energy, lethargic even after a cup of coffee. I just make sure to take them the next day and I’m back to normal. They do say you can open the capsules and mix into a drink. I have yet to do that. There’s not much of a flavor when just taking the capsules. They are large so every once in a while they’re a little tough to take down.

No GMO’s, so you’re not getting poison with your supplement

No GMO’s from the BEST supplier of supplements out there, Garden of Life. [Names excluded to ensure this will post and NOT engage in liability claims: In 2007 I visited an Apothecary in NY State and the owner, a certified Apothecarist (grandmother trained & State certified) cited Garden of Life as one of the ‘only’ and most consistent supplement suppliers for providing 100%, or better, of the constituents in their products because he tested them in his on site lab, which he pointed to. He also had a wire basket bin FILLED with popular ‘name brands’ that he had tested to prove they had less than 25% to 0% of the claimed constituents with one brand containing 100% silica in the majority of their products. I’m sorry I cannot name them but if you think about it now, you can avoid them by sticking with Garden of Life.]

My diet hasn’t been the greatest lately so I looked for a multivitamin and found these. Honestly the transparency that the company has is one of the things that really caught my eye. I’ve been taking them for a few weeks now and honestly I’ve noticed a few small things. For one I’m sleeping better. I don’t toss and turn as much, it’s probably the magnesium. The digestive enzymes also seem to be helping my gut a fair bit. I definitely recommend these. Usually something this high quality costs a lot more money. For me it was between this and another supplement that costs $100 every 30 days but these are almost as good and much more affordable. Highly recommended

    It’s organic I guess

Doesn’t really do anything for me, no energy, no mood change. I guess it’s organic or whatever and has real food, but what’s the point. Also you have to take 3 a day which is wild

    Great Vitamins!

The best multivitamin, for me, thus far.
